What really bugs you?
Are there phrases and terms than really get to you? What’s like nails down a blackboard when you see/read/hear it?
For me it’s “Fire an arrow”. There is no combustion!! You loose an arrow. It is possible to “fire” an arrow, but that’s for burning things down and seriously decreases range or early experiments with gun powder tried variations on bolts and arrows.
What gets to me is any sentence that starts with; "actually" during a casual chat. If I wanted a peer reviewed debate, it's not likely going to be about anything I bring up in a normal chat 🤣
"Here have we war for war, and blood for blood,
Controlment for controlment: so answer France."
Yes, fire an arrow is up there for me too, as is chain mail or maille 😀
