Is it only possible to add one picture per post? Also it seems that [img][/img] doesn't work. It's always nice for painting log when you can post the pictures between the text.
Currently this is the case, to add this functionality would mean adding a paid feature and I wanted to be sure that members wanted multiple pics before I paid for it! I will put my hand in my pocket in the new year and add the option. 😊
Hey Andy, If you can include pictures in the text, it looks better. But I don't think you currently should invest extra money in the forum. The activity is on facebook. Nowadays it's almost impossible to get a vibrant forum community compared with a facebook group.
@tonius I don’t fully agree the activity is on Facebook. Many are finding themselves with bans within the re-enactment and war gaming circles due to bots and keywords used in historical context. If this continues then many will have little choice but make use of forum to discuss the raising of militia, civil war and rebellion in history.
On photos, I prefer to see them inline rather than have to click to open a file. It feels more secure than hoping a file is what it claims to be.
@tonius I believe there is a lot of activity on Facebook as it is an easy medium. It will take time to establish a forum to help this I plan to add all new content as well as new rules here. It will make it easier to navigate, search and find as after a while it gets lost on FB.

Yes, I also like to see the pictures visible in the post. It just looks better and makes it more easier for the viewer. 😉

Hi, So after a a bit of play it is more than possible, it just has to be done the old fashioned way. upload the image(s) you wish to add to a post to a popular image hosting site such as Imgur or photobucket (does that still exist?!) right click the image and select copy image location. Paste that into the reply box. There is no need to use [img] or <img > etc.

Looks like it works with Google Photos, but only on a pc. Doesn't work with phone or tablet
